A husband, father, pastor and jokester. Lover of the local church in all of its crazIness. After spending many years working with students, Ryan took the plunge into the lead pastor world. While finishing a Masters Degree in Historical Theology, the Ashley’s hunkered down in Arvada to start Restoration in 2011. Along the road, Ryan has continued to love all kinds of sports, laughing with anyone and everyone, and dreaming big dreams with other dreamers. Ryan is currently the Chairman of the Metro Denver Church Planting Committee for the Evangelical Covenant Church in the Midwest. He and his wife Angela have two teenage kids.
Jessica co-leads the children's ministry with Janelle - they are the dream team! She is a multi-generational Colorado native. She loves tea. Has a terrible puppy. Loves pottery and yoga. And most importantly, has a heart especially for Elementary-age kids, and serves the Restoration Kids and volunteers so well!
They do everything from scheduling and communication to preparing materials and curriculum each week.
Kimberly has been working for Restoration since day one behind-the-scenes with all things admin, marketing and communication. And even remotely because we let her go off and get married in Fresno for awhile. But she and husband Gabe are back (little Gabe as he's known... there are 3 in the church... and little is facetious).
Kimberly's heart is for broken families and orphans. Ask her about ways you can be involved with some causes we are deeply passionate about!
Janelle has been a part of the Restoration community for a little over 3 years, and honored to lead the children’s ministry with Jessica.
By day, Janelle is a financial securities principal, supervising financial advisors, but in her spare time, she keeps herself busy with watching soccer, traveling the world, volunteering with the USO, spending time with her family, and enjoying the blessings of her god-children.
In addition to the children’s ministry, Janelle serves on the host team, service support, and leads the Care team and Family Shelter Initiative through Growing Home.
Aubrie is a recent edition to our leadership team and has been a part of the media team for Sunday mornings. She has worked in ministry positions, volunteered in churches, and maintains a strong hope in the movement of the Gospel. Aubrie's passion in life is education. She has been an elementary teacher for six years and most recently has taken a position as a reading specialist where her job is to work with struggling readers in impoverished areas.
Aubrie is married to Randy, a local Bible Teacher, and together they have the most adorable, and annoying, Labradoodle you'll ever meet named Sophie.
Steve combines his diverse interests in youth ministry and accounting to serve the community at Restoration. He continues to be overwhelmed by God's immense concern for those that have been abandoned by society and how he can be a part of restoring them to God's community and Himself.
Steve also enjoys dog-sitting, bicycling and traveling around the U.S.
Steve also serves over the Finances and with our High School group.
Jean is a recent addition to the leadership team and brings a passion for connecting people in our church body, helping people feel welcome, growing our women's ministry and children. She has served on the church council at her former church and held a variety of volunteer positions there. Jean is currently volunteering in Restoration's children's ministry and on the Host team.
Jean works as a preschool teacher for the City of Westminster and enjoys the outdoors, hiking, reading, sewing, crafting, and, especially, spending time with her friends and family. She has 3 grown children, Angela, Ben and Sophie; one daughter-in-law, Michele; and an adorable granddaughter, Roxi.
Dan wants to grow up to be a follower of Jesus and he wants to encourage, excite and invite you on that journey with him. Experimenting with ways of practicing the teachings of Jesus has led Dan into a wide variety of situations, everything from living with squatters in Mexico City to pastoring dairy farmers in rural Wisconsin. He enjoys solitude, generosity, playing, creativity and simplicity, especially when employed in a community aimed at the kingdom of God. Dan and his wife Kelly are people of hospitality and friendship. Even though Dan has a tendency to be in the wrong place at the right time, his coming to Restoration is right both in place and time for him and us.
