Teaching Quotes:
"Fear of others leads to conformity, anxiety, and silence. Reverence for Christ leads to confidence, peace, and boldness—even in suffering."
Suffering naturally stirs fear—fear of rejection, loss of control, or public perception.
Peter calls us not just to endure suffering, but to respond to it with reverence for Christ instead of fear of others.
Reverence isn’t passive—it's a bold, trust-filled orientation toward Jesus that brings courage in the face of fear.
"To bless someone who wrongs you is not to approve of evil, but to refuse to mirror it."
Blessing an enemy doesn’t ignore pain or excuse wrongdoing—it chooses Christlike mercy over human instinct.
Peter echoes Jesus’ call: "Bless those who curse you," challenging the church to radically reflect God's character.
True blessing stems from a heart transformed by God's blessing—only those who have received can give.
